Can AI build complex business automations just from a plain-English request? In this video, I test Maia by Make, an AI assistant built directly into the Make scenario builder. Instead of manually creating every module, condition, and connection, you can describe the process you want, and Maia helps turn it into a working automation on the canvas. For this test, I build something directly related to Shark Numbers: a sponsorship deal workflow. When a deal is marked Closed Won in Salesforce, the automation checks its value. Deals above $10,000 require finance approval before onboarding can continue. Once approved, the workflow creates onboarding tasks in Trello, notifies the team in Slack, and schedules a kickoff in Google Calendar. I also test an important part of the workflow: whether Maia can create a real approval gate that actually waits for an approval or rejection before moving forward.
