A lot of AI coding tools promise speed. Faster code generation. Faster prototyping. Faster iteration. But the real bottleneck usually starts after the project is already built. Not because building the first version is impossible — but because keeping it alive is where the friction begins. Fresh data needs to be pulled. The project needs to be rebuilt. Changes need to be pushed. Scheduled jobs need to run. And someone still has to check that nothing quietly broke in the background. That gap between “working project” and “self-maintaining system” is where most tools stop being useful. That brings us to Warp and Oz.
